Maple Holistics Edible Honeydew Massage Oil Review

After a lot of missing it, I finally managed to snag myself a freebie from Maple Holistics! I was really curious to try some of their massage oil.

My boyfriend and I have never tried massage oil before but we're people who need a lot of neck rubs, back rubs, leg rubs, and chiropractor visits. We've done our best to give each other massages over the years, but its just hard. I have very weak, sensitive wrists that I need to be super careful with and his fingers tire out easily. That generally means we end up going without the full extent of massage we really need.

From the moment we opened the bottle, we were in heaven. The scent is really pleasant and sweet. It reminded me a little bit of candy and just felt so upbeat, which is a totally bizarre way to describe a fragrance but I don't know how else to do so!

The oil was the perfect consistency. Not too runny, not too thick. There was no stickiness or unpleasant sensations at all. Straight out of the bottle, at room temperature, it felt very refreshing. The oil completely eliminated all the problems that can arise from the frictions of trying to give someone a massage with your bare hands. Our hands glided easily over the oil but at the same time we had so much more control. It was a lot easier to keep a slow, steady pace and not rub too rough. The oil soaked into our skin really nicely instead of drying down with a strange or unpleasant texture. Everything about it was just perfect.

Afterwards we both felt so incredibly good. We couldn't stop talking about how great we felt; so much better than we had in more months than we wanted to count! Our hands, fingers, and wrists didn't even hurt a bit. My boyfriend's review of this product is a single word: Amazing. I wholeheartedly agree!

Sadly I couldn't find anywhere to buy more of the Edible Honeydew Massage Oil but I've got quite a few of the others sitting in my Amazon cart! My boyfriend and I have decided weekly massages are definitely going to be a thing now so we wanted a variety to choose from. We settled on Sensual Massage Oil, Therapeutic Massage Oil, Relaxing Massage Oil, and Muscle Pain Massage Oil.
