Superface 3D Dual Lip Pencil Review

This was actually the second thing I won from 08liter but the first to arrive! Can you believe its my first lipstick too?! Spoiler: I love my Superface 3D Dual Lip Pencil and I'm super excited to try more K-beauty products.

Before I even saw the front I knew what this was! The bubble mailer is super cute silver holographic and the sticker is just so dang happy. You really can't help but smile as you pull it out of the mailbox.

Even more cuteness! When you open it the box thinks you're super, too! I was grinning like an idiot the whole time I opened this. I love Superface's packaging.

Be really careful when you open it! The lid is stuck on there really hard and it nicked the top of my lipstick. Its not the end of the world by any means but man did I feel crappy damaging it before it was even open. Despite the setback its a beautiful color with good quality packaging; with how tight the lid is I feel safe keeping it in my makeup bag. The tube has an interesting texture that does attract dust so it might not be best to leave it out on your vanity if you aren't using it every single day.

I got the shade "Be Mine", which is light and hot pink. Since its a dual lipstick you can use it a few different ways. You can mix the colors together (I suggest doing this on your lips so you can still use the dual function later) or use it to get easy ombre lips! It takes a little practice but its really genius. I love that I can just use this one single product to create simple two-color lipstick.

The formula is really creamy and feels great on my lips. Calling it a pencil is definitely a bit of a lost in translation thing, since its basically just a cool lipstick. It didn't dry out my lips at all, even when they were still recovering from our harsh winter, and felt moisturizing. It mixes nicely with chapstick on days when I need a little extra. After a couple hours it pretty much entirely disappears on me, but I prefer when my lipstick does that instead of getting patchy or weird.

Overall I'm really thrilled with this lipstick and my first exploration into K-beauty! Its the perfect pop of pink whether I want a light, subtle color or to pack a bunch with both pretty shades. When it arrived I wasn't quite sure how much I'd like the pink on me but I've already bought a handful of new pink lipsticks at Sephora... I think that tells you all you need to know!
