Missha US Coloring Tint Balm Review
I was so excited to be chosen for another K-beauty lip product on 08liter! This is the Coloring Tint Balm by Missha US.
The packaging is simple but gives enough information. I was pretty excited about the "moist melting texture" since I've been all about my soft Burt's Bees chapstick lately. Could this Tint Balm be the perfect everyday pop of color I've been searching for?
The tube itself looks almost identical to the box, which I thought was a cute touch.
Sweet To You is a beautiful pink, as you could probably guess from the packaging, and it has a slanted applicator. I've really been loving slanted tops lately because its a lot easier for me to get precise color with them. The top of the balm is so smooth I almost thought it was some sort of sticker or cover at first! When I put the tube close to my nose it has a soft gentle scent. Its hard to describe accurately but it reminds me of the sweet chapsticks I used as a child. I can smell it while applying about half the time and once the tube is put away I can't smell it at all.

| It has such a pretty shine when it catches the light! It looks shimmery but there's no glitter in it. |
It glides on so smoothly! "Moist melting texture" is an excellent way to describe it. As soon as it touches my lips it feels like its melting in a really nice way. I know that sounds totally weird, but it just feels really nourishing and nice. Because of how soft it is I'd recommend keeping this in your purse, never your pocket, and if you live somewhere crazy hot it might be best to keep it at home during the worst of the heat.
The Tint Balm is very pigmented but goes on a little sheer; I can still see the freckles on my lips after I apply it. Because of this its very natural despite being such a bright color. For me its the perfect look for summer! Colorful, natural, and beautifully shiny.
After a few hours I need to reapply it. It doesn't really dry or soak in the same way my other chapsticks do. My lips still felt the same, like something was on them, when I looked in the mirror and noticed the only real pigment left was in the lines on my lips! A quick reapplication took care of that so its definitely something you'll need to re-apply throughout the day.
The only time my lips got dry was when my boyfriend and I spent a while outside, chatting in direct sunlight. It felt like the sun just zapped away all the moisture so this might not be the best balm to wear on days you plan to spend a lot of time outside. Aside from that my lips felt really soft and nourished all day long. When I removed the calm at the end of the day my lips didn't feel dry or start drying out quickly, which sometimes happens to me. Instead they stayed really hydrated all night long.
